I read Half Moon Lake from Kirsten Alexander and quite enjoyed it and this sounds….really interesting. I haven’t read Turner’s first book, The Last Days of the Romanov Dancers but this one has some pretty decent reviews from some people I know so I’ll be getting to it at some stage during this month. This is a hefty book, set in the 1170s – definitely not a time period I have ever read anything from before.
